VA logoWhat is VA?
Vampires Anonymous (VA) is a support group which is a cross between AA and the PTA. Group members refer to themselves as vampires even though they have not been fully turned, similar to former drinkers in AA, who no longer drink alcohol but still refer to themselves as alcoholics.

Who can use VA?
Although the group is primarily made up of victims of vampire attacks (the hunted), friends and families are also welcome during open meetings.

How was VA created?
The VA has been in existence for 10 years and is the brainchild of Joe Allen, a former camp counselor turned vampire-awareness activist.

How can I join?
We meet every Wednesday at 11pm, always in a different location to keep ahead of the vampires. We keep in contact with each other through this website and email. We also have a 1-800 number you can call in case of emergencies. Membership is on a sliding scale donation basis.

What does group membership get me?
In addition to special events such as vampire-awareness fund raisers, walkathons and social mixers, the VA also provides members with discounted garlic pills, coupons to local vegetarian restaurants, as well as a club pin and a bumper sticker that reads "Don't Suck".
